Insamlingsstiftelsen för Midnattssolens trädgård har nu skapats för att börja arbeta med finansieringen av uppförande, drift och utveckling av anläggningen som planeras vara klar för invigning under år 2025. Målet med Midnattssolens trädgård är att skapa en attraktiv natur- och trädgårdsupplevelse med koppling till en av Sveriges mest internationellt kända personer – Carl von Linné och hans forskn
ingsresa till Jokkmokk och Lappland år 1732. Det specialdesignade trädgårdskonceptet signerat Ulf Nordfjell, Sveriges mest välrenommerade landskapsarkitekt, länkar samman spektakulär arkitektur och design med trädgård och arktisk natur. Detta kommer att stärka Jokkmokk och destinationen Swedish Lapland som nationellt och internationellt hållbart besöksmål. Anläggningen kommer att bestå av s*x delar:
• Besökscentrum – trädgårdsentré/restaurang/butik/utställning/konferens
• Odlingsgränsen – köksträdgården
• Trädgården - inspirationsträdgårdar
• Lekplats – lek på samiskt tema på barnens villkor
• Deltat - med spänger tillgängliggörs ett stycke vild natur längs jokken
• Fjällbotaniska trädgården – fjällvärldens flora på liten yta

The fundraising foundation for the Arctic Gardens has now been created to start working with the financing of the construction, operation and development of the facility which is planned to be completed for inauguration during the year 2025. The goal of the Arctic Gardens is to create an attractive nature and garden experience connected to one of Sweden's most internationally known people - Carl Linneaus and his exploration trip to Jokkmokk and Lapland in 1732. The artistically designed garden concept created by Ulf Nordfjell, Sweden's most renowned landscape architect, links spectacular architecture and design together with horticulture and the arctic nature. This will strengthen Jokkmokk and the destination Swedish Lapland as a nationally and internationally sustainable destination. The facility will consist of six parts:
• Visitor center - Entrance/restaurant/shop/exhibition/conference
• Odlingsgränsen - the Kitchen garden
• The Arctic Garden - artistically designed gardens for exploration and inspiration
• The Playground - play on a Sami theme on the children's own terms
• The Delta - a piece of wild nature is made available along the stream
• The Alpine Garden - the Scandinavian mountain's flora on a small area
