Salams people, how are you doing this fine day? Woohoo the school year is nearly done. I hope you guys are studying hard.
I'm just dropping by to give you a little life lesson so bear with me. ^^'
Ever feel like you've made a mistake so big that you can never be forgiven?
Well, here's a story to prove the mercy of ALLAH (SWT):
There was once a man who murdered 99 people and then wanted to stop, repent and seek forgiveness from God. So, he went to a christian monk and confessed to him. The monk was mind boggled and he said: "God will never forgive you." So, the man got angry and killed him thus reaching a total of 100 men murdered by him. He immediately regretted it and went to a sheikh and confessed. The sheikh said: "This city doesn't encourage you to do good. Leave this city, there is a city not far from here the people are kind and religious." He left the city immediately and on the way to the city he died. The angels were arguing whether to place him in heaven or hell. So, ALLAH (SWT) said: "Measure the distance between the man and both cities. If he's close to the city of evil doers put him in hell. If he's close to the city of believers put him in heaven." So, the angels measured and the man was closer to the city of non believers but ALLAH (SWT) brought the man closer to the city of believers. So, he was placed in heaven. :)
The moral of this long and extremely boring story :P is that it's never too late to repent and do good. Just keep that in mind. Have a great day!!
