Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Rwanda Grzegorz Morawski hosted the Deputy CEO and senior management of RwandAir at the Residence to discuss strengthening cooperation as well as opportunities to enhance air connectivity between Rwanda and Poland. The parties exchanged views on potential areas of future cooperation.

On 26 August 2026, Minister of State Dr. Usta Kaitesi held a meeting with the Head of the Polish Embassy, Mr. Grzegorz Morawski. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest and to explore ways of further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Poland and Rwanda. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued engagement and collaboration in areas of common interest. The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the strong and friendly relations between the two sides.

On August 20, a constructive meeting was held between the Head of the Mission of the Embassy of Poland to Rwanda and representatives of Wiss Group, a Polish international group specializing in advanced special-purpose vehicles, including firefighting, rescue, police, and other specialized vehicles and equipment. The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation, exploring new opportunities, and fostering stronger partnerships between Rwanda and Poland regarding emergency response vehicles, civil protection and civil defense.

UCR Munyurangabo Jon welcomed the Head of Mission of the Embassy of Poland in Rwanda, Mr. Grzegorz Morawski to discuss cooperation between Poland and UNIDO Rwanda.
On 20 August 2026, Rwanda’s Ministry of Interior (MININTER), in partnership with UNIDO, launched a project to strengthen Rwanda’s firefighting and emergency-response capacity.
The project is supported by the Government of Poland through UNIDO. It aims to improve Rwanda’s ability to prevent, prepare for, and respond to fires and other emergencies. The initiative seeks to protect lives, property, and livelihoods.

On August 4, 2026, a strategic meeting was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kigali between the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland and Paweł Kopycki, Director at Polish Security Printing Works (Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych – PWPW S.A.), and Michał Nidzgorski, Senior Sales Manager at PWPW S.A.

The primary objective of the meeting was to coordinate diplomatic efforts with PWPW’s expansion strategy in East Africa, with a particular focus on exploring potential partnerships with the Rwandan government in the fields of document production and official identity infrastructure.
