Thanks to our revolutionary technology and strict quality control, Florever preserves the beauty of fresh flowers. Their soft delicate appearance and evocative beauty make it difficult to differentiate between our fresh look line and cut flowers. Our flowers keep the soft touch of natural flowers making them easier to handle for flower arrangements and offer advantages of both fresh and dried flow
ers. Our colors are vivid and shiny as those of the fresh flowers and do not vanish in a long time. Thanks to the revolutionary preservation process, our products are less susceptible to the attack of insects and moulds. All the substances used in our formulas are harmless and safe. We begin our quality control by cultivating our flowers on dedicated farms in Colombia. Flowers are carefully grown under ideal conditions to meet our size and quality standards. Those farms have the ASOCOLFLORES’1 certificate “FlorVerde” which is a voluntary code of conduct with a defined evaluation criteria of mandatory compliance, under the purpose of social-environmental self-regulation in aspects such as:
• Pesticide use reduction and implementation of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) practices.
• Water consumption reduction with optimal irrigation techniques.
• Waste management with environmentally sound disposal alternatives.
• Soil improvement through organic fertilization and reduction of chemicals (+50% reduction of agrochemicals).
• Friendly landscaping using of natural barriers and conservation of biodiversity.
• Control of air emissions related to ozone layer and climate change. At our own farm, we use all the practices above using low toxicity chemicals, using the plant’s residue to produce compost (organic fertilizer) for the farm and purifying the water before it returns to the environment. The substances used in the preservation process are non toxic, non corrosive, non carcinogenic, non explosive and non chemical reactive and therefore they do not represent any risk for human health or for the environment. At the same time, the industrial residue is not toxic and at the factory we have a plant which treats industrial residue. We believe that our eco-friendly production line will continue to maintain healthy and fertile soil – the source of good-quality flowers.
