Yari Foundation, in collaboration with Yasin-e-Mahraka, extended vital support to families affected by the recent floods in Yasin Valley. A total of Rs. 880,000 in financial assistance was distributed among the affected households.

The funds were raised through donations from generous individuals both within and outside Yasin. Aid was provided to 16 households in Taus Chashma and Qarqolti, 25 households in Thoi, and 5 households in Barkolti.

The distribution process was facilitated by Yasin-e-Mahraka’s team and local council representatives, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout.

We are proud to share that we have successfully distributed high-value cherry plants to selected farmers across various villages in Yasin Valley, including Hundur, Central Yasin, Ghojalti, and Thoi Valley. This initiative aims to empower local farmers by enabling them to cultivate, harvest, and sell premium-quality cherries, fostering a sustainable source of income and contributing to the region's economic growth in the years to come.

This marks the beginning of many transformative projects we plan to introduce for the people of Yasin Valley. Through a data-driven approach, we ensured that these high-value plants were allocated to farmers who stand to benefit the most, maximizing their long-term impact.

We are planning to launch a Cherry Plantation Project in Yasin Valley, where we will donate cherry plants to local farmers, providing them with the opportunity to grow, harvest, and sell high-value cherries.

The farmers will be selected through a data-driven approach, ensuring that the project reaches those who will benefit the most.
