A New Chapter of Leadership — Central Forest Region-I Welcomes CCF Asghar Khan

Central Forest Region-I, Peshawar, warmly welcomed Mr. Asghar Khan, Chief Conservator of Forests, as he assumed charge at the Peshawar Headquarters.

The occasion was marked by a warm and cordial gathering of senior forest officers, including Muhammad Junaid Dayar, Director I&HRDM; Hayat Ali, Conservator Forest, Hazara Region-II; Shah Hussain, Conservator Forest, Peshawar Region; Muhammad Shakeel, Divisional Forest Officer, Peshawar; and Muhammad Rashid, Divisional Forest Officer, Bajaur, along with other officers and officials of the Forest Department.

The gathering reflected the spirit of collegiality, professional commitment, and shared responsibility towards the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s precious forests.

With every new responsibility comes a new opportunity to serve — and every new chapter in forest leadership carries with it the promise of nurturing a greener, stronger, and more resilient Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

From Rescue to Freedom: Lagger Falcon Returns to the Wild

Three days ago, the Mastuj Wildlife staff rescued a Lagger Falcon that was found in an extremely weak and debilitated condition. Recognizing the bird’s fragile state, the Wildlife staff immediately provided essential first aid, nourishment, and dedicated care.

For three consecutive days, the falcon remained under close observation and received continuous care and treatment. Gradually, its strength returned, its condition improved, and it regained the vitality needed to take flight once again.

Following its successful recovery, the Lagger Falcon was formally released back into its natural habitat by the Additional Assistant Commissioner, Mastuj, in the presence of the Wildlife staff.

From a moment of weakness to the freedom of the open sky, this rescue reflects the commitment of KP Wildlife staff to protecting the region’s precious wildlife and ensuring that every rescued creature gets a second chance to return where it truly belongs — in the wild.

محکمہ موسمیاتی تبدیلی، جنگلات، ماحولیات و جنگلی حیات، خیبر پختونخوا کے تحت باجوڑ فارسٹ ڈویژن، خار میں فارسٹ گارڈ (BPS-08) کی آسامیوں کے لیے اسکرونٹی کمیٹی نے ایٹا کی جانب سے فراہم کردہ اہل امیدواروں کی ابتدائی میرٹ لسٹ حتمی کر دی ہے۔

ابتدائی میرٹ لسٹ باجوڑ فارسٹ ڈویژن کے نوٹس بورڈ اور سرکاری فیس بک صفحے کے علاوہ محکمہ موسمیاتی تبدیلی، جنگلات، ماحولیات و جنگلی حیات کے سرکاری فیس بک صفحے اور ویب سائٹ پر بھی جاری کر دی گئی ہے۔

تمام متعلقہ امیدواروں کو ہدایت کی جاتی ہے کہ وہ اپنی میرٹ پوزیشن اور کوائف کی جانچ ضرور کر لیں۔
