In compliance with the vision of Chief Minister’s Good Governance initiative, the Education Monitoring Authority Swat remained actively engaged in line of duty during Eid holidays as well. Monitoring teams conducted inspections of notified cattle markets across District Swat to ensure proper arrangements, cleanliness, and implementation of official directives in the public interest.

In compliance with the directives of the Honorable Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Director General of the Education Monitoring Authority, the District Monitoring Officer (DMO) Swat, along with the monitoring staff, visited UADA Kanju Township and the General Bus Stand Mingora as part of the DSD 2.0 first-phase inspection.
All basic facilities in Parks 1, 2, and 3 of UADA Kanju Township, Swat were thoroughly inspected. A visit to the General Bus Stand was also conducted, where infrastructure, ticket booths, waiting areas, and washrooms were carefully examined.
The DMO Swat issued instructions for further improvements to enhance the overall facilities and services.

Swat: A meeting of the District Steering Committee for Education was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Swat, Mohib Ullah Khan Yousafzai, and was attended by the District Monitoring Officer (KP-EMA) Shams Uz Zaman, the focal person KP-EMA Nasir Khan Yousafzai, District Education Officers (Male and Female), and other officers of the Education Department. During the meeting, the District Monitoring Officer briefed the forum on the overall performance of the Education Department and compliance with previous directives, while emphasis was placed on improving basic facilities, ensuring staff attendance, and completing repair and maintenance work in schools during winter vacations to ensure a conducive learning environment.

Date: 15 December 2025.

Today, a District Service Delivery review meeting was held at the DC Office Swat under the chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Swat. Assistant Commissioners participated via video link along with representatives of key departments. From KPEMA, Mr. Nasir Khan Yousafzai and Mr. Najeeb Ullah also participated. The meeting reviewed departmental performance regarding public facilities, cleanliness, service delivery, and grievance redressal. The ADC emphasized improving coordination and expediting work to ensure timely public services and directed concerned departments to address deficiencies immediately.
