Siranwali (Punjabi/Urdu:سرانوالی is a town on the Gujranwala to Pasrur road in Daska Tehsil, Sialkot District, Pakistan.[2]
The town is home to grain markets which provides jobs for thousands of people. The town is located close to, and partly merged with, Mianwali Bangla. History
Siranwali traces its history with the reign of Ranjit Singh. While the area was Settled by the Sandhu Jat migrants wh
o believed to come here from northeastern Ottoman Empire (modern Georgia, Chechenya, Adjara, Abkhazia) as per Sir Lepel Griffin. The Sandhu family of Siranwali rose position and power under rule of Ranjit Singh. He awarded this Jagir to Sardar Lal Singh Sandhu who's daughter was get married with ranjit singh's elder son Kharak singh in 1840.[3]

In 1949 the area captured by british army and they allotted a pension of Rs 1,000 a month to Lal Singh's elder son Rachpal singh Sandhu. In 1984 he was the nominated president of Sialkot District. in the same year British entrusted him with civil and criminal powers as an honourary magistrate with his court in Siranwali mansion. Rachpal Singh died in 1907 and his son Sardar Shiv Deo singh Sandhu succeeded his as a magistrate and administered the village as part of a region extending from Wadala Sandhuan to Kalaswala.[4] He erected a wall around the sarai both this wall and the mansion itself are now largely ruined. Partition of 1947 occurred during the rule of Sheo Dave Singh, and the ruling family departed for India. Their mansion was subsequently acquired by Mewati-speaking immigrants.
