A training workshop for Investigation Officers of District Shangla was held today at the office of SP Investigation Shangla, where District Public Prosecutor Shangla Anwar Ali Khan, the prosecution team, SP Investigation Zahid Khan, and respected lawyers from the District Bar Association Shangla participated. The purpose of the workshop was to professionally train Investigation Officers and strengthen their capacity for accurate, efficient, and legally sound investigations. Important areas such as proper crime-scene management, effective documentation, coordination between police and prosecution, and avoiding investigation errors leading to wrongful acquittals were discussed in detail. SP Investigation Zahid Khan highlighted the need for continuous capacity-building, while DPP Anwar Ali Khan emphasized that strong investigation is the backbone of successful prosecution and improved conviction rates. The workshop concluded with an interactive session where IOs discussed practical challenges and received valuable guidance from legal experts. The joint efforts of police, prosecution, and the legal community reflect a shared commitment to improving investigation standards and ensuring justice in Shangla.
