Red Salute, Comrades!
Long Live Sindh! Long Live the Students’ Struggle!
Since its foundation, the Progressive Students' Federation Sindh (PrSF Sindh) has waged an uncompromising struggle—not only on the student question, but also as an organic part of the broader movement of the oppressed classes, nations, and strata of society.
For decades, Students' union remain banned. Education is being commodified and dragged into the clutches of privatization. Facilities in schools and universities are almost nonexistent. The shameful trade of marks in boards, seats in universities, and jobs in government continues. Our educational institutions are occupied by state forces. Harassment, intimidation, show-cause notices, and fabricated cases against students have become the daily routine of this oppressive system.
At the same time, the contradictions of the state are sharpening. The so-called capitalist “development” has produced nothing but hunger, poverty, unemployment, and displacement. This neo-colonial state has looted the water, land, and resources of the oppressed peoples. Every attempt is made to silence progressive voices—through abductions, false cases, and coercion. Yet despite these chains of tyranny, new movements of resistance are rising across the country, with the youth standing at the forefront.
It is in this context that the Progressive Students Federation Sindh convenes its Third National Congress on 30–31 August in Hyderabad. For the Open Session, we extend our invitation to students, youth, workers, peasants, women, teachers, lawyers, intellectuals, and all progressive and patriotic forces to join us.
This Congress will not be a routine organizational activity. It will be a pledge of struggle and a vow of resistance—to organize students and youth against repression and to chart the path for the struggle of the future.
