اٹس ایپ کا شمار دنیا کی مقبول ترین ایپس میں ہوتا ہے لیکن شائقین لمبے عرصے سے ’ڈارک موڈ‘ کے فیچر کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں مگر اب یہ انتظار ختم ہو گیا ہے کیونکہ ڈارک موڈ سیٹنگ اینڈرائیڈ کیلئے واٹس ایپ بیٹا ورژن میں متعارف کرادی گئی ہے اور بہت جلد تمام صارفین کو بھی دستیاب ہو جائے گی۔
اس فیچر کی بدولت صارفین کو لائٹ یا ڈارک تھیم کو منتخب کرنے کا موقع ملے گا جبکہ اینڈرائیڈ 9 یا اس کے بعد آنے والے آپریٹنگ سسٹم کے حامل فونز میں سسٹم ڈیفالٹ تھیم سے بھی ایسا ممکن ہو سکے گا۔ یہ آپشن بیٹا ورژن استعمال کرنے والے صارفین سیٹنگز میں جاکر چیٹس اور پھر تھیمز میں دیکھ سکتے ہیں لیکن اس کیلئے ایپ کا تازہ ترین بیٹا ورژن ہونا ضروری ہے تاہم خوشی کی بات یہ ہے کہ بہت جلد ڈارک تھیم کا آپشن تمام صارفین کو مہیا کر دیا جائے گا۔

ڈارک موڈ وہ فیچر ہے جس کا وعدہ واٹس ایپ کی ملکیت رکھنے والی کمپنی فیس بک نے 2018ءمیں کیا تھا اور جب سے ہی اس کی تیاری پر کام کیا جارہا ہے اور ابتدائی طور پر بیٹاورژن میں ڈارک تھیم مکمل طور پر کالی نہیں بلکہ ڈارک گرے رنگ کی ہو گی جسے بعد ازاں مزید بہتر بنایا جائے گا۔
اس سے قبل یوٹیوب، ٹوئٹر، انسٹاگرام اور فیس بک میسنجر جیسی ایپلی کیشنز بھی ڈارک موڈ فیچر متعارف کرا چکی ہیں البتہ فیس بک کی مرکزی ایپلی کیشن میں تاحال یہ فیچر دستیاب نہیں البتہ امکان ظاہر کیا جا رہا ہے کہ اب جلد ہی اس ایپلی کیشن میں بھی یہ فیچر مہیا کر دیا جائے گا۔
