Drugs ruin lives and families. To eradicate this social vice of drug addiction, a seminar was held there at the Govt. Associate college for women, sukkar Adda RYK. The seminar started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Laiba Asghar from ADP 2nd semester recited the verses of the Holy Quran.Director of Punjab Narcotics Control Lieutenant Colonel (R) Abdul Ghaffar NCS RYK. graced the occasion and enlightened the audience about the causes, effects and retaliation of this social evil. He said that PNC is fully equipped and devoted to fight against this burning issue.Moreover, he motivated the students to lead a substance free life and play their pivotal role in the betterment of the country. Later, he took part in the college plantation drive. He expressed his heartfelt remarks about the college administration in the college log book too.In the end, principal of the college, Ms. Farrukh Chaudhry thanked the guest for his informative session.

Ms.Nasreen Riaz visited Govt Associate college for women sukkar Adda RYK on 14th May,2026. She took part in the college plantation drive along with the Principal of the college, Ms.Farrukh Chaudhry. Moreover,she distributed the certificates among the Pre-First Year students. The principal of the college initiated a "skill development program" for pre- first year class in which short courses of Computer, English language and Home economics are being offered. As the computer short course has been completed,a certificate distribution ceremony was held at the college. The Chief Guest, Ms.Nasreen Riaz MPA, gave away the certificates among the students.She appreciated the visionary and revolutionary steps of the principal for making the students independent and skillful.She was surprised to witness the positive changes in the college. She was overjoyed to see the beautiful interior and cleanliness of the college.
