Director General Agriculture OFWM Balochistan Mr. Mehboob Ali Baloch, accompanied by Deputy Director Agriculture OFWM Wali Khan Tareen and Engineer Abdul Faheem Tareen, paid a detailed visit to Ziarat District. During the visit, Director General reviewed the progress of various development schemes, including solar systems, pipelines, ponds, and other projects. The Director General specially appreciated the performance of Deputy Director Munir Ahmed Khan Tareen and expressed satisfaction over the ongoing projects while commending the efforts of the entire team.

Mehboob Ali Baloch, Director General Agriculture (OFWM) Balochistan, along with Wali Tareen, Project Director EFAP, and Engineer Abdul Faheem, visited District Killa Saifullah today to review the implementation of key development initiatives under PSDP and EFA Projects. The projects including land levelling, water boring, and the construction of Water Storage Tanks (WST) are focused on advancing agricultural growth and ensuring sustainable water conservation in the region.

The team reviewed the ground-level implementation of PSDP and EFAP projects to ensure quality and progress for the benefit of local farmers.

A progress review meeting of all districts was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Muhammad Ayub, Special Secretary, Agriculture & Cooperative Department, Quetta, accompanied by Mr. Mehbob Ali Baloch, Director General, Agriculture (OFWM) Balochistan, to assess physical and financial progress up to the third quarter of FY 2025–26. The chair conducted a district-wise performance review, focusing on target achievement, implementation efficiency, ex*****on timelines, and fund utilization, while also identifying key bottlenecks. Detailed discussions were held on impact evaluation of OFWM schemes in terms of water-use efficiency, agricultural productivity, and farmer outreach, along with the strengthening of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, compliance with PC-I provisions, and adherence to quality assurance standards to ensure timely completion, transparency, and optimal resource utilization.
