Chairman Balochistan Textbook Board (BTBB) 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗷𝗶 attended the Technical Validation Workshop for the Provincial Education Policy 2026, organized at the BUITEMS Training Hall, Quetta. Backed by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and IIEP-UNESCO, the program marked a unified step toward creating an inclusive, equitable, and quality learning ecosystem across the province.

In a recent appearance on the 𝗔𝗕𝗡 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 morning show "Subah Ki Soch," the Chairman of the Balochistan Textbook Board (BTBB), 𝘿𝙧. 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙗 𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙆𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙟𝙞, highlighted a landmark milestone for the province. Under the forward-thinking vision of the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻, the province has officially become the first in Pakistan to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Robotics, and Climate Change subjects in Public school of Balochistan.
𝘿𝙧. 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙗 𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙆𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙟𝙞 emphasized that this visionary initiative was made possible under the leadership and guidance of the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻, the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝑮𝒐𝑩) , and the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝑮𝒐𝑩). The discussion centered on sharing best practices in curriculum development, textbook management, and distribution. To further strengthen mutual cooperation, Chairman BTBB invited the STBB team to Quetta for the upcoming Book Development and Curriculum Conference.

She particularly highlighted the availability of e-books on the official BTBB website, noting that digital accessibility is a transformative step for students and teachers in remote areas of the province. The website was launched by the 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 (𝐆𝐨𝐁) 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐫 , during a 3-Day Capacity Enhancement & Review workshop organized for textbook authors, editors, and reviewers. This new online platform brings immense benefits to the public by providing instant access to all digital textbooks and e-books, allowing students and teachers to download learning materials for offline use anywhere in the Province. Additionally, making it easier for citizens to submit queries and feedback directly through the portal.
