The HR and Administration departments successfully organized a fun-filled and energetic Sports Gala, celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and unity among our staff.

The event concluded with an exciting trophy distribution ceremony, where Head of Campus Dr. Ali Imran Zaidi, Medical Director Dr. Ahmed Salman, and Senior Manager – Admin Mr. Imran Shahzad presented trophies to winners and runners-up of various games. 🏅

MIKD Clinical Dietitian Represents Pakistan at International Forums in Sri Lanka & Maldives

The Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases (MIKD) proudly announces that its Clinical Dietitian, Ms. Areeja Nasir, represented Pakistan at two prestigious international forums in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. She was part of a distinguished delegation of top clinical dietitians from leading hospitals including Aga Khan University Hospital, Al Shifa International Hospital, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Pakistan Air Force Hospital Islamabad, and Evercare Hospital.

The delegation was hosted at the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo, where discussions focused on strengthening bilateral collaboration in clinical nutrition and healthcare advancement. With support from the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Pakistan, the team also visited the National Hospital Colombo on a Government-to-Government level, receiving an honorable welcome marked by the playing of Pakistan’s National Anthem.

Following the Sri Lankan visit, the team continued their professional engagement at ADK Hospital, Maldives, sharing Pakistan’s expertise in medical nutrition therapy and exploring future training and research collaborations.

Representing South Punjab and Indus Hospital exclusively, Ms. Areeja Nasir stood out as the youngest member of the delegation, showcasing her expertise in Renal, Transplant, and Critical Care Dietetics. World Food Day Celebrated at Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases (MIKD)

The event featured Chef Imran Ali, Executive Chef of South Punjab COTHM, as the Guest Speaker, while Mr. Ali Imran Zaidi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. A special cake-cutting ceremony and an awareness walk were also arranged to mark the occasion.

Dr. Faheem Anwar, Chief Operating Officer, IHHN (North), graced the event as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Mr. Sakir Ullah, Head of Finance, IHHN (North). While addressing the gathering, Dr. Faheem Anwar acknowledged the vital role of nurses in patient care, stating, “Your empathy, resilience, and tireless service form the backbone of our healthcare system.”

The gala featured an eclectic mix of traditional sports and recreational games, including Cricket, Badminton, Ludo, Tug of War, Musical Chairs, and Painting, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. Participants from various teams, including RTEH, RBC, MIKD, and the South Punjab Health Secretariat, showcased their skills and competitive spirit throughout the day.
