MCC Appraisement Lahore on 18.11.2019 detected a case of mis declaration, the goods declared in the consignment by M/S Seagulls International were 12 volts fan motors, on examination 30+ tons of Aluminium wire was found in same packing for hoodwinking. An attempt of evasion to the tune of 8,000’000/- (duty/taxes)was timely thwarted. FIR registered and culprit arrested.

Time to celebrate!!! Central Region (MCCs Appraisement Lahore, Preventive Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad) has successfully surpassed the revenue target of Customs Duty for the year 2018-19 by collecting Rs.82831 million against the target of Rs. 82409. This was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the team of officers and officials of these Collectirates under dynamic leadership of Madam Zeba Hai Azhar, Chief Collector Central Region. Congratulations to the whole Customs fraternity.

Distribution of Prime Minister's Assistance Package cheques among the relatives of deceased Customs employees at MCC Appraisement Lahore by the Collector Mr. Amjad ur Rehman. It was through Collectorate's special efforts that these families got around 25 lacs each which were due but short paid due to interpretation of a notification. 25 millions were distributed among 10 families.
