Pakistan's greatest chapter is still being written and I believe it is being written by its youth.
More than a decade ago, we started the Youth General Assembly with a simple belief that young people, when trusted and empowered, can become a force for positive change.
Over the years, what began as an idea has grown into a national platform shaped by thousands of young people, volunteers, mentors and partners who have shared this journey with us.
Today marks another important milestone.
I am proud to share that the Youth General Assembly is now formally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under the name of YGA Foundation. With this milestone, YGA becomes Pakistan's first registered Youth Assembly/Youth Parliament under SECP.
While the Youth General Assembly will continue to serve as our flagship platform for engaging and empowering young people, YGA Foundation provides the institutional framework that will strengthen, sustain and expand this mission for generations to come.
As we look ahead, our Vision 2035 is clear to prepare Pakistan's youth for the future through leadership, public policy, innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI). We want our young people not only to adapt to a changing world but to help shape it.
As I begin this new chapter, I also look back with gratitude on the two years I spent with the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. It was an honour to serve and work with so many inspiring young people across Pakistan. While that chapter has now come to an end, the experience strengthened my belief that empowering young people is the key to Pakistan's future, and I will carry that vision forward through YGA Foundation.
The first photo was taken in the final days of July 2015, as we prepared for this new beginning. The second was captured on 5 August 2015, when YGA held its inaugural Board of Advisors meeting and officially began this new chapter.
Looking back, I am reminded that institutions are not built overnight. They are built with purpose, consistency and the collective efforts of people who continue to believe in the same vision.
To everyone who has been part of this journey over the past decade, thank you for believing in the mission and walking this path with us.
From an idea to an institution. From a dream to a foundation.

The journey continues.
