Digital Attendance Management System (DAMS) | SSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026

As part of BISE Lahore’s commitment to a Transparent, Secure and Technology-Driven Examination System, a visit was conducted to Government High School, Chuburji Gardens, Lahore on 06 October 2026 to review the implementation of the Digital Attendance Management System (DAMS) during the SSC (2nd Annual) Examination 2026.

The visit focused on monitoring the effective implementation of digital attendance and ensuring a smooth, transparent and efficient examination process.

بورڈ آف انٹرمیڈیٹ اینڈ سیکنڈری ایجوکیشن (BISE) لاہور کے زیر اہتمام جاری میٹرک کے دوسرے سالانہ امتحان 2026 کے سلسلئے میں انگریزی کے پرچے کے دوران سخت مانیٹرنگ کی گئی۔ کنٹرولر امتحانات توصیف الرحمن نے مختلف امتحانی مراکِز کے اچانک دورے کیے، جن کے دوران مجموعی طور پر 9 امیدواروں کو نقل کرتے ہوئے رنگے ہاتھوں پکڑ لیا گیا۔​تفصیلات کے مطابق ​گورنمنٹ مسلم ماڈل ہائی سکول، اردو بازار (لاہور):ایک امیدوار محمد عبداللہ (رول نمبر: 143561) کو نقل کے غیر قانونی ذرائع استعمال کرتے ہوئے موقع پر پکڑا گیا۔
​گورنمنٹ لیب ہائر سیکنڈری سکول، قصور:
3 امیدواروں کو نقل کرتے ہوئے گرفتار کیا گیا، جن میں عمیر علی مرزا (رول نمبر: 125734)، محمد طلحہ (رول نمبر: 125752) اور محمد عاطف (رول نمبر: 125748) شامل ہیں۔
​گورنمنٹ علی عباس شہید ہائر سیکنڈری سکول، مریدکے (شیخوپورہ):
5 امیدواروں کو موقع پر نقل کرتے ہوئے پکڑا گیا، جن میں محمد عمیر (رول نمبر: 160179)، وسیم علی (رول نمبر: 162617)، سید اظہار الحق بخاری (رول نمبر: 160162)، محمد سمیر (رول نمبر: 162741) اور عبدالرحمن (رول نمبر: 162771) شامل ہیں۔​نقل میں ملوث تمام 9 امیدواروں کے خلاف ان فیئر مینز کیس (UMC) درج کر کے مزید باضابطہ قانونی و ڈسپلنری کارروائی کا آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے۔​اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کنٹرولر امتحانات توصیف الرحمن نے اپنے عزم کا اعادہ کیا:
​"لاہور بورڈ شفاف، منصفانہ اور میرٹ پر مبنی امتحانات کے انعقاد کے لیے مکمل طور پر پرعزم ہے۔ امتحانی نظام میں بوٹی مافیا اور نقل کی کوئی گنجائش نہیں، اور اس سلسلے میں زیرو ٹالرنس پالیسی پر سختی سے عمل درآمد جاری رہے گا۔"

Mock Test for On-Screen Marking System Initiated, Paving the Way for E-Marking of Examination Papers.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has initiated a mock test for its On-Screen Marking System as part of a pilot project aimed at introducing e-marking of examination papers.

On the first day of the pilot, 150 students from Government College University (GCU), Punjab College, and Superior College participated in the examination using specially designed e-sheets.
The arrangements were reviewed by Chairman Task Force on Examinations Mr. Muzammil Mahmood, along with Chairman BISE Lahore Prof. Badar-ul-Islam and Controller of Examinations Mr. Tauseef-ur-Rehman.

The new e-marking system is designed to:
🔹 Enhance students’ confidence in the examination process
🔹 Facilitate the identification of impersonation through e-sheets
🔹 Enable qualified and expert teachers from across Pakistan to participate in paper marking
🔹 Improve transparency and reduce complaints related to rechecking

This pilot project marks an important step towards modernizing examination practices and strengthening transparency, efficiency, and credibility in the assessment system.

The Staff Training & Development Centre (ST&DC), BISE Lahore, organized a second phase of training session for the Assistants of BISE Lahore on “Punjab BISE Act, 1976.”

The training was conducted by Prof. Dr. Nauman Jameel, Additional Secretary (Boards), Higher Education Department, who served as the Resource Person. The session aimed to enhance the understanding of BISE officials regarding the jurisdiction, powers, functions, and statutory framework of the Board under the Punjab BISE Act, 1976.

Engr Dr-Badar Ul Islam, Chairman BISE Lahore, and Mr. Rizwan Nazir (PAS), Secretary PBCC, also graced the training session with their presence.
The initiative reflects BISE Lahore’s commitment to continuous professional development, capacity building, and strengthening institutional efficiency.

✅ Technology-driven Evaluation Process
✅ Greater efficiency and transparency in examination procedures
