Spring Plantation Drive,2023 at Herbarium/Botanical Garden University of Malakand, Organized by YPDC Chapter University Of Malakand, Volunteerism Program & Green Youth Movement Club in collaboration with Directorate of Administration & Forest Division, Lower Dir.

What are some of the challenges volunteers face worldwide?

➡️Volunteering, like our societies, is unequal. Informal volunteering is mostly done by women.
➡️In humanitarian emergencies, volunteering can be risky and at times dangerous.

The Volunteerism Program,UoM & Kamyab Jawan Markaz in collaboration with Department of Psychology & Social Work organized "Counselling Session for University Students" at Community Mental Health Center, University of Malakand.
Aim of the activity was to provide counseling services to male and female university students, having psycho-social issues.
Around 32 volunteers participated in the counseling sessions. Male clients were treated by male volunteers/counselors at the Department of Social work, UoM while counselling session for female clients was conducted at Community Mental Health Center, UoM by female volunteer counselors.
Dr Hamid Alam, Focal Person, Volunteerism Program,UoM Dr Zahid Khan, Facilitator, Kamyab Jawan Markaz,UoM & Mr Jamil Anwar Abbasi, Deputy Director, Students Societies,UoM pledged to extend full support to the students in this regard.
