🇵🇰 Happy Independence Day — Pakistan! 🇵🇰

On the auspicious occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, heartfelt congratulations are extended to all members of the Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys’ Association (AMUOBA) and its Executive Committee, including members of the Zakir Ali Khan Panel.

This day holds special significance as it commemorates the freedom achieved under the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, through the historic struggle and sacrifices of the Muslims of the subcontinent.

Independence Day not only reminds us of our rich history but also provides an opportunity to unite as a nation and celebrate our diversity and strength.

May the spirit of freedom, unity and brotherhood continue to inspire generations.

The President and Executive Committee of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association (AMUOBA) express their heartfelt condolences to Mr. Javed Aziz Khan, Member Executive Committee AMUOBA, on the sad demise of his beloved uncle on 09 June 2026.

We pray that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul His infinite mercy, forgiveness, and the highest place in Jannah.

May He also bless Mr. Javed Aziz Khan and his family with patience and strength during this difficult time.

ڈاکٹر بشیر بدر یادیں چھوڑ گئے

دنیائے اردو ادب کے عظیم شاعر ڈاکٹر بشیر بدر کی رحلت سے اردو غزل ایک درخشاں اور منفرد آواز سے محروم ہو گئی ھے ۔
یہ خلاء مدتوں محسوس کیا جائےگا۔ انہوں نےعلیگڑھ سے اردو میں Phd کی ڈگری حاصل کی اور تاحیات علیگڑھ کی روائت سے جڑے رہے ۔ انہیں بھارت میں بڑے سویلین ایوارڈ پدم شری سے بھی نوازا گیا ۔ اردوغزل کوانہوں نے نہ صرف ایک نیا رنگوں آہنگ عطا کیا بلکہ
نئی نسل کو بھی بیحد متاثر کیا ۔ ان کا یہ شعر زباں زد عام ھے

"اجالے اپنی یادوں کے ہمارے ساتھ رہنے دو
نہ جانے کس گلی میں زندگی کی شام ہو جائے"

وہ یک کامیاب ناظم مشاعرہ بھی تھے۔

علیگڑھ مسلم یونیورسٹی اولڑ بوائز ایسوسی ایشن، کراچی کے عالمی مشاعرہ میں ان کی ش کت اورنظامت آج بھی اہالیان کراچی کے ذہنوں میں محفوظ ھے۔

ان کی آمد سے کراچی کی شعری محفلیں جاگ جاتی تھی۔ وہ ایک عہد ساز شاعرتھے ان کی شاعری اردو غزل کےآسمان پر روشن ستارہ کی طرح جگمگاتی رہیگی اور ادب کی دنیا میں صدیوں زندہ رہےگی۔

Standing in Solidarity and Honoring Resilience
Kashmir is known for its unmatched beauty and cultural richness, yet it continues to suffer under prolonged conflict. Chancellor Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, who also serves as the President of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association Pakistan, highlighted that the voices of the Kashmiri people are being silenced and their fundamental human rights denied.

He reaffirmed SSUET’s strong support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and urged the international community to work collectively toward a peaceful and just resolution that upholds human dignity and freedom.

As we commemorate Kashmir Day, let us come together in solidarity, honoring the strength and resilience of the Kashmiri people. Let this day be a reminder of our shared responsibility to advocate for justice, peace, and the protection of human rights for all.
