Today at Inkspired: Baba and Me with Dr. Waleed Wasti 💙

Timings: 4-5 pm
Read-aloud of "Who is Talking in My Head?" followed by physical activities.

Dr. Syed Waleed Mehmood Wasti completed his BBA (2012) and MS in Economics (2017) from IBA Karachi, and his PhD in Economics (2024) from the University of Oklahoma on a Fulbright Scholarship. He taught at Iqra University from 2016 to 2025 and is currently an Assistant Professor at Salim Habib University. He is also pursuing Darse Nizami studies at Hidayah Academy and has been affiliated with the Hikmah Institute since 2013.

Beyond academics, Dr. Waleed is passionate about youth and community development. He was actively involved in da’wah and tarbiyah programs in Oklahoma - taught kids on a regular basis in the Islamic society of Norman, OK. He also coached football (soccer) to students at the Oklahoma Islamic Academy.

He conducted sessions on the lives of the Prophets at the Trivium Summer Camp (2025) in Karachi and also coached football to kids in the Trailblazers program at Hikmah Institute. Dr. Waleed is a proud father of three.
