Inspected Karachi Zoo today along with Assistant Commissioner Garden, Manshad Ali Shahaani. We were warmly received by the Deputy Director Zoo, Shaukat Mahar, who briefed us on the initiatives and upgradation work being carried out by the Zoo Administration. The efforts to modernize the Zoo in line with animal-centric standards are truly commendable. It is also encouraging to see improvements in facilities aimed at making the Zoo a more public-friendly space. Overall, it was a delightful experience to witness this 150-year-old symbol of Karachi being revitalized.
