Young Athletes from Karachi Depart for Sri Lanka to Represent Pakistan in the Asian Games
Three talented athletes from Faqir Colony, Orangi Town, Karachi — Adnan Afridi, Ayesha Baloch, and Iqra Khan — have arrived in Sri Lanka to represent Pakistan in the Asian Games.
The young athletes are determined to showcase their skills and dedication on the international stage while proudly representing Pakistan. On this occasion, they expressed their sincere gratitude to all those who supported them throughout their journey.
The athletes extended special thanks to Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar, for his sponsorship and continued encouragement of young sporting talent. They also conveyed their appreciation to the Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh, Munawar Ali Mahesar and Additional Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Asad Ishaque, for their unwavering support, guidance, and commitment to promoting sports and empowering young athletes.
The athletes further acknowledged the efforts of their coach, Ustad Fida Hussain Baloch, whose dedication, guidance, and hard work have been instrumental in preparing them for international competition.
Expressing their confidence and determination, the athletes stated that they will strive to deliver their best performance, bring honor to Pakistan, Sindh, and Orangi Town, and return home with pride and success.
