THE MARKET OF MISDIRECTION:
Defending the Unchanging Word Today, a dangerous narrative claims that the Bible has changed, or that its truths are no longer reliable.
Yet, those of us whose lives have been radically transformed stand as living witnesses to its unchanging power. Tragically, this witness is often mocked....not just by the world, but by brethren within the Church who have failed to live according to the Word.
Because they cannot bear spiritual fruit, they attempt to claim that fruit-bearing is impossible. Instead of submitting to Scripture, they create personal interpretations synthesized from internet trends and movies.
📖 “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12
This widespread compromise drives a obsessive search for end-times timelines. We debate whether we will endure the Great Tribulation or be spared through a pre-, mid-, or post-tribulation rapture. This anxiety fuels a relentless, day-and-night consumption of online content, leading to profound spiritual confusion. We see a fragmented Church: some are merely waiting for an escape, others are consumed with proving everyone else wrong, and a few are weaving theological ideologies out of science fiction...even using artificial intelligence to assert their own wisdom. Many blindly follow "digital warriors" and self-proclaimed social media prophets, individuals not appointed by God, who repurpose internet information and label it as divine revelation.
📖 “For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and will turn aside to myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4
Yet, these figures find a massive audience. The world operates as a marketplace where every product finds a consumer; even the cheapest, most hollow ideas are embraced by those who either lack discernment or have no eye for the Truth. As the saying goes,
"Even a monkey-showman can gather a crowd." Popularity must never be confused with spiritual substance. This desperation for quick fixes drives people to churches for healings and prophecies in the exact same manner they would seek out sorcerers. They pursue immediate solutions to earthly problems, rather than seeking eternal salvation. Tragically, there is a profound lack of interest in truly knowing the Lord Jesus.
But Scripture corrects us directly:
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”
John 17:3
My brothers and sisters, do not be deceived by those who deny the power of a transformed life. Do not follow these wolves in sheep's clothing.
📖 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.”
Matthew 7:15-16
Ultimately, only one question matters: Are we ready? Are we ready to live by faith, to stand firm in our convictions, and if called upon to lay down our lives for our faith in the Eternal Son of God, our Father,
Jesus Christ
The Eternal King of Glory?
✨ “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”
1 Corinthians 16:13 kjv
