comprehensive session on Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention was successfully conducted at NIRM Hospiatl, Islamabad organized by the Directorate of Workers Education (DWE), Islamabad.

The training was managed by Assistant Director, Mr. Faisal Niaz and facilitated by Mr. Muhammad Irfan from Rescue 1122.

💡 This free-of-cost training, offered by the Directorate of Workers Education, aims to equip industrial workers with essential knowledge and practical skills to handle emergencies and ensure workplace safety.

The session covered:
✅ Types and causes of fire incidents
✅ Practical use of fire extinguishers and emergency tools
✅ Fire prevention and control strategies

Condolence Meeting Held at DWE for Martyrs of Surang Tragedy

Islamabad, August 7, 2026 — The Directorate of Workers’ Education (DWE) organized a condolence meeting to pray for the elevation of ranks and forgiveness of the 34 martyrs of the Surang tragedy, and to express condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families.

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Muhammad Akbar Rai, Director General, DWE. Syed Noor-ul-Hassnain, former Member of the National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
