On 6th April, Team Saah Rise hosted a thought-provoking session on Climate, Gender, and Menstrual Health & Dignity (MHD).
The session began with breaking down myths surrounding menstruation across different regions of Pakistan, creating a safe and open space for dialogue. Participants from Environmental Sciences, representing diverse regions including Sindh, South Punjab, Gilgit, Buner (KPK), and Central Punjab, shared powerful insights and lived experiences.
The discussion highlighted how climate change disproportionately affects marginalized communities, especially women, and emphasized the urgent need for inclusive and gender-sensitive approaches.
This session was conducted in collaboration with Baithak’s South Asian Menstrual Health and Dignity Regional Institute.
