On the occasion of World Civil Defence Day – 2026, Civil Defence Academy Lahore proudly conducted a special training session on “Empowering Women with Skills That Save Lives.”

The session focused on first aid, emergency response, and disaster preparedness, equipping women with practical life-saving skills to protect their families and communities. Together, we are building a safer, stronger, and more resilient society. 🌍
2nd Session regarding Fire Safety & First Aid conducted by Miss. Sumera Nazir Instructor, Mr. Nasir Ali, at Government Technical Training Institute for Women focused on preparing participants to respond confidently to home emergencies through hands-on firefighting practice and essential life-saving techniques.
Because when women are trained, homes become safer and communities stronger.

On 1st March 2026, a joint event was organized by Federal Civil Defence Training School Faisalabad and Local Civil Defence under the theme announced by International Civil Defence Organization: “Managing Environmental Risks for a Resilient and Sustainable Future.”

Civil society members, volunteers, students, teachers, media personnel, government employees, factory workers, and scouts participated with great enthusiasm. The program included display of equipment, distribution of safety literature, and banners highlighting the theme and slogans.

A walk rally, led by ADC Muhammad Fazzal Abbas, started from District Council Chowk and concluded at Kachery Chowk, Faisalabad.
