🇵🇰 Independence Day Celebrated at BOR Hyderabad 🇵🇰

A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Board of Revenue, Shahbaz Building, Hyderabad, in connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day.

The national flag was hoisted by Mr. Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, Member RS&EP, in the presence of Mr. Salik Mirza, Member Judicial, and Mr. Aijaz Jatoi, Director Gothabad.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Muhammad Asif Qureshi, Deputy Secretary; Mr. Ali Muhammad Babur, Deputy Director; Mr. Azhar Chachar, Mukhtiarkar; Mr. Aziz Junejo, Assistant Director, and other officers and employees.

BOR Celebrates 79th Anniversary of Independence Day with National Spirit

Board of Revenue, Sindh proudly marked the 79th Anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence Day with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony at Revenue House, Karachi, reflecting the spirit of patriotism, national unity and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Pakistan.

Senior Member, Board of Revenue, Sindh, Syed Khalid Hyder Shah and Member (Reforms) Board of Revenue, Sindh, Mr. Saifullah Abro; hoisted the national flag to the solemn strains of the National Anthem, with Secretary-cum-Director, LARMIS, Muhammad Yousif Shaikh; Director Anti-Encroachment Force, Liaquat Ali Kalhoro and other officers and officials in attendance.

As part of the celebrations, tree plantation was also carried out, with the Senior Member and Member (Reforms) planting saplings; a powerful symbol of commitment to environmental responsibility and a sustainable future.

Speaking on the occasion, the Senior Member highlighted that Pakistan today needs public institutions that are competent, transparent, technology-driven, accountable and worthy of public trust. He reiterated his resolve to transform the Board of Revenue, Sindh into a modern, efficient, transparent and responsive institution.

The occasion provided an opportunity to renew the collective resolve to work with sincerity, unity, and dedication for the betterment of BOR and the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

The ceremony concluded with cake cutting in celebration of the Independence Day.

SMBR Reviews Reform Progress and Record of Rights Re-writing

Senior Member, Board of Revenue, Sindh, Syed Khalid Hyder Shah chaired two separate meetings regarding ongoing reform initiatives to strengthen and modernize land administration in Sindh, today at Revenue House, Karachi.

The first was a follow-up meeting to advance the deliberations of an earlier meeting held by Member (Reforms), regarding reforms in the Directorate of Settlement, Survey & Land Records Sindh and allied offices.

The second was a separate online meeting on the re-writing of the Record of Rights (RoR), attended by all Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners, and other revenue officials, as well as District Managers of People’s Service Centers (PSCs).

The follow-up meeting reviewed progress on key reform areas, including the proposed amendments to the Sindh City Survey Act, 1987 and Sindh City Survey Rules, 1988, modernization of the Directorate’s operational framework, and improvement of professional training at Sindh Tapedar College, Hyderabad. Discussions focused on translating reform proposals into practical and coordinated measures to strengthen institutional capacity, administrative efficiency and overall performance.

During the online meeting, Member (Reforms), Mr. Saifullah Abro and Secretary-cum-Director LARMIS, Mr. Muhammad Yousif Shaikh briefed the meeting on the progress of Record of Rights re-writing, based on the latest updates reflected on the provincial digital dashboard regarding rewriting.

Progress was reviewed in detail at the division, district and taluka levels. The Senior Member invited comments and feedback from the Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and other participating officers regarding the progress achieved, challenges being faced and measures required to further improve performance and accelerate the process.

Following the detailed review and feedback, the Senior Member issued directions to expedite the re-writing process and improve performance at all levels, with emphasis on close monitoring, effective coordination, accountability and timely completion.

The performance of the best-performing divisions, districts and field formations was also appreciated, encouraging other teams to build on their progress and achieve improved results.

The two meetings reaffirmed BOR’s commitment to institutional modernization, digital monitoring, improved performance, efficient land records management and better public service delivery across Sindh.

🌿 Tree Plantation at People’s Service Center, Dadu 🌿

In compliance with the directives of the Member (Reforms), BOR, Sindh and under the supervision of Secretary-cum-Director, LARMIS, a tree plantation activity was organized at the People’s Service Center (PSC), Dadu.

Incharge Manager, PSC Dadu, Shuhab Memon and other PSC staff actively participated in the plantation activity.

Sub-Registrar, Dadu, Ali Muhammad Junejo also joined the initiative along with the Registration Staff, demonstrating a shared commitment towards environmental conservation and public service.

The activity reflects the spirit of teamwork and institutional responsibility, while contributing to the broader vision of creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Sindh.

🌿 Turning PSC Matiari Green During the Monsoon Plantation Drive 🌿

A strong message of environmental responsibility was highlighted at the Peoples Service Center (PSC) Matiari, where senior district administration and LARMIS & Registration staff joined hands in the ongoing Monsoon Tree Plantation Drive.

Deputy Commissioner Matiari, Muhammad Danish Zakir; Additional Deputy Commissioner-II, Dr. Amjad Jamali and Assistant Commissioner Matiari, Abdul Wahab, alongside Manager PSC Matiari, Suhail Ahmed Memon and other PSC staff, actively participated in the plantation activity and planted saplings of various plant species.

🌿 PSC Umerkot Joins Monsoon Tree Plantation Drive 🌿

A tree plantation event was organised at Peoples Service Center (PSC) Umerkot, where the Additional Deputy Commissioner-I, Umerkot, Javed Ahmed Dahiri, along with officers and staff members of the PSC, actively participated in the plantation drive and planted saplings.
