The closing session of the Business Development Training, organized by GIZ – Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and ILO – International Labour Organization, was successfully held on 22nd May 2026 at Hill View Restaurant, F-7 Islamabad.
The training program provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in business skills, business planning, teamwork, cost and pricing strategies, tendering procedures, and modern problem-solving techniques. The special task of the day focused on developing agriculture-based business plans, where participants demonstrated exceptional creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial potential.
Dr. Nidal (International Trainer from Palestine – Honourable Guest) and Dr. Naeem Akhtar conducted insightful training sessions and guided participants throughout the program. The presence of professors from different technical colleges, along with Tariq Noman, Samiullah Khan, Shujaat Khan, Saleem Khan, Kashif Yousafzai, and Amin Ullah, further enhanced the effectiveness and success of the training.
Certificates were distributed among the participants during the closing ceremony, followed by a memorable group photo session. The training was conducted through the coordination of Engr Salman Ahmad, Assistant Director Technical / Focal Person TEVT Uplift Program WWBKP.
Special appreciation is extended to the European Union, German Cooperation, GIZ, ILO, British Council, NAVTTC, and Workers Welfare Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their valuable collaboration and commitment toward empowering workers through skill development and entrepreneurship initiatives.
