The Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate / Land Acquisition Collector (LAC), District Diamer, held a coordination meeting with officials of SUPARCO and WAPDA to review ongoing matters pertaining to the Diamer-Bhasha Dam Project (DBDP) and Dassu Hydropower Project (DHPP) falling within District Diamer.
The meeting focused on addressing operational and coordination issues, particularly those related to land acquisition, verification, and resettlement processes, and emphasized the need to further expedite the LAC related proceedings to ensure timely completion and smooth ex*****on of these nationally significant infrastructure projects.
The District Administration Diamer reiterated its commitment to facilitating all concerned stakeholders and ensuring that administrative processes are carried out in an efficient, transparent, and lawful manner. Continued coordination among all agencies will remain a priority to remove bottlenecks and support the timely implementation of these strategic development initiatives for the benefit of the people of Gilgit Baltistan and the country at large.
