"HOLIDAY" WITH TEARS IN THE EYES
Today, June 12, another "celebration" of the so-called Russia Day will take place. And when will the authorities face a difficult task - how and with what to fill it with information?
Every holiday has symbols that give birth to a special response in the heart, its own set of images - the Christmas tree, red signs for May 1st and 9th. What is the set of images of the Day of Russia? What are his symbols? Tricolor? And what the hell else is? Nothing ! Stolen or none. Not to make an oil tower as a symbol, or a raspberry jacket!? And these are the true signs of the time, which came after what actually happened on June 12, 1990. The adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR was one of the key events in the process of the collapse of the Soviet Union, giving birth to the actual dual power in the country and the "war of laws".
But no, of course, if they say about it, then literally in a nutshell, quietly. Yeltsin and the Democrats cohort are causing too outright heartburn and nausea in the masses, the word liberal, including in the media - is almost swearing. Do not raise a rating with such a heritage, with their dates on the shield. And we need to vote on constitutional amendments, read about the issue of “zeroing” on the nose. I wish we could postpone Russia Day to... the date of Putin's inauguration - that would be yes! So that, like the Japanese emperors, with each new term, a new calendar begins, a new, you know, era... And the memory of EBN and its affairs - somewhere in the outskirts, in the warmth and honor of the Yeltsin Center, where serious people who benefited a lot in the "holy 90s" will know and remember, but in their circle, without much publicity.
They will show us another thing - in no case the drunken and hateful birth of the first president, not the footage of the collapse and collapse of the country, not the descent of the red flag, not the firing of the Supreme Council, not the poverty, not the war in Chechnya, but the Declaration of Independence also spoke of the "need for substantially empowering the rights of autonomous republics, regions, districts, regions within the RSFSR”. The fighters who died in the course of the New Year's storm of the Terrible would probably also celebrate now, if they could, a wonderful holiday - Russia Day. In fact, why the hell not? Russia, against all common-union laws, proclaimed the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR on June 12, 1990, and on November 27, 1990, against all Russian laws, the session of the Supreme Council of the Chechen-Ingush Republic adopted its "Declaration of State Sustainability".
Where by force, where by concessions, where by diplomacy we managed to finally stop the deadly "Parade of Sovereignty", which threatened the division of Tatarstan, Bashkiria, in the 90s, and the process turned out to be an initiated, complete and final collapse of the state to pieces. But this threat also has a specific starting point. Until June 12, 1990, documents on sovereignty, or restoration of independence were accepted only by the Baltic republics - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. And only Gorbachev's indecisiveness prevented him from simply ignoring these papers, arresting those officials and deputies who would try to turn them into reality. It was impossible not to count with the declaration of sovereignty of the RSFSR.
The birthday of their "new Russia" and the new Russians with it will be illustrated by the victories and greatness of Soviet and Imperial Russia. The first channel will be on for almost all day, starting from 10:15 a.m. the Ryurikovichi series will be broadcast. Also here and in Russia-1, sport is honored. What is needed to invoke pride in people for "ours" without unnecessary questions with political context. The truth is not without complications here - the same movie "Movement Up" with its anti-Soviet chords, prone distortion of historical truth and extensive plagiarism was excellently analyzed by the famous film critic Evgeny Bazhenov - it is also a product of the current Russian era.
To speak, the Crimean theme is gradually disappearing - just last year television "pleased" us on Russia Day with the showing of a film, which was so-called - Crimea. It is understandable that this victory going further away from today turned out to be painfully incomplete. Eastern and Southern Ukraine, Donbass - Novorossiya was born then, following the example of Sevastopol and Tavrida, rising against the right-wing Bandera-oligarchic coup. There was Faith, Hope, Fervor. And where is it now, Novorossiya? Under the fifth, actually under occupation by the fascist Kiev junta. And the enemy guns are still firing at our doorstep. What am I for ? Ah, of course! Happy holiday to you, dear citizens!
Hypocrisy is generally a distinctive feature of the regime, but on such dates it manifests itself with special force. Fortunately, however, even it doesn't really help. Sometimes it seems to be time to sympathize with official propaganda! It's hard to be forced to celebrate... After all, a holiday is more than a day off, than just the opportunity not to work, get enough sleep, or even have a glass. A holiday is a state of mind, an awareness of sympathy to an event that took place even hundreds of years ago, or to an idea that hovers over the entire globe and inspires and unites people. It may be a joy of hope and expectation of renewal with the arrival of the new year, it may be something deeply personal, but in any case, the holiday is one of emotions, feelings of joy and togetherness, and this is almost impossible to fake, in any case, not so careless gentlemen as our current figures in the cultural sphere.
Russia does not celebrate "its" Day! At least he is not celebrating! Resting, yes (and not all - mostly only those that are connected to the state and must live by their schedule), but only. No calls with excited congratulations, no friendly gatherings, no drowning in the heart. You can drive people to the Red Square, but you cannot force them to be happy. And it is not hard to understand why - people do not forget about that country, whose victories are regularly exhibited now, they do not forget that there was greatness, there was justice, there were holidays that they wanted to celebrate! Now, looking at Ukraine, on all that has happened over the past few years, it is impossible not to understand how much we have lost by gaining this "independence". What causes independence? From ourselves!
The true Day of Russia will come when the Belovezh borders collapse, when the one cut alive, betrayed and sold, our united and mighty Motherland will be reborn! This is what all patriots, all healthy people, all remembering history, all thinking forces want unanimously now! This is now a pleasure being exploited by the authorities, but this is the exact opposite of what happened on June 12, 1990!
