New Mattresses with Covers Provided in Trauma Wards

New mattresses along with covers have been provided and replaced in the Trauma Wards, improving comfort and hygiene for admitted patients.

We sincerely thank Hospital Director Dr. Farrukh Jamil for his kind support and for providing the new mattresses with covers. His continued efforts toward improving patient care and hospital facilities are highly appreciated.

خوراک اور پانی سے پھیلنے والی بیماریاں، بالخصوص اسہال (Diarrhoea)، پیٹ کی خرابی اور معدے کی تکالیف، بنیادی طور پر غیر معیاری خوراک، آلودہ پانی اور ناقص حفظانِ صحت کے باعث پیدا ہوتی ہیں، جس کی وجہ سے ہسپتالوں پر اور خاص طور پر ایمرجنسی پر اور دوائیوں پر کافی اثر پڑتا ہے -

ایسی صورتحال میں اسپتالوں اور طبی عملے کو بلاجواز موردِ الزام ٹھہرانا مناسب نہیں۔

ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ بیماری کی اصل وجوہات—صاف پانی، معیاری خوراک اور حفظانِ صحت—پر توجہ دی جائے.

Training and Demonstration Session Conducted at Trauma Center (03/07/2026)

A comprehensive training and demonstration session was conducted at the Trauma accident and emergency center District headquarter Teaching hospital under the supervision of the Civil Defence Team inspector Alamgir khan and instructor Ehsan . The session focused on enhancing emergency preparedness, response capabilities, and fire safety awareness among hospital staff.

The session was attended by the hospital and Trauma Center management, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and members of the Fire Safety Team.

The training included practical demonstrations and guidance aimed at strengthening coordinated emergency response mechanisms and ensuring the effective implementation of safety protocols within the Trauma Center.

Visit of Civil Defence (02/09/2026)
On the request of the Trauma Management, a team from the Civil Defence Department headed by inspector Alamgir khan, visited the Accident & Emergency Trauma Center.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the existing fire safety arrangements and facilities available at the Trauma Center. The team conducted an inspection of the premises and reviewed the available fire safety measures and emergency preparedness.

The Civil Defence team also provided valuable guidance and recommendations regarding the improvement of fire safety arrangements, emergency response measures, and overall safety of patients, attendants, and staff.

The management appreciates the visit and valuable recommendations of the Civil Defence team and will take appropriate measures to further strengthen fire safety and emergency preparedness at the Trauma Center.

ڈپٹی کمشنر ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان کا ٹراما سنٹر کا دورہ

ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان: ڈپٹی کمشنر ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان جناب حکمت اللہ نے آج پیش آنے والے ناخوشگوار واقعہ میں زخمی ہونے والے پولیس اہلکاروں کی عیادت کے لیے ڈسٹرکٹ ہیڈکوارٹر ٹیچنگ ہسپتال کے ٹراما، ایکسیڈنٹ اینڈ ایمرجنسی سنٹر کا دورہ کیا۔

ڈپٹی کمشنر نے زخمی اہلکاروں کی خیریت دریافت کی اور ان کے علاج و معالجے کے حوالے سے ہسپتال انتظامیہ سے بریفنگ لی۔ اور ڈپٹی کمشنر صاحب کو مکمل یقین دہانی کرائی گئی کہ زخمی پولیس اہلکاروں کے علاج و معالجے میں کسی قسم کی غفلت یا کوتاہی نہیں برتی جائے گی اور انہیں بہترین ممکنہ طبی سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں گی۔

Second Mock Exercise Conducted at Trauma Center

A successful second mock emergency exercise was conducted at the Trauma, Accident & Emergency Center on 13 August 2026 to improve emergency preparedness, teamwork, and coordinated response during mass casualty incidents.

During the exercise, Associate Professor Dr. Humayon Khan Mehsood, Assistant Professor Dr. Aftab Burki, and Assistant Professor Dr. Aftab Khan Marwat shared their valuable experience and highlighted the importance of quick decision-making, effective communication, proper triage, and following emergency protocols.

In-charge Trauma Dr. Sibghatullah Miankhail and Manager Trauma Center Umair khan welcomed the participants and emphasized the need for continuous improvement in mass casualty management.

Doctors, nurses, paramedics, and support staff actively participated in the exercise and practiced patient triage, smooth patient flow, teamwork, and timely life-saving interventions.

We appreciate the dedication and active participation of all staff members. Such exercises help strengthen our emergency response and reaffirm our commitment to providing safe, timely, and quality emergency care to the people we serve.
