Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls Nawabshah (Benazirabad)

The idea of having an exclusive cadet college for girls at Nawabshah was conceived by Mohtarma Faryal Talpur who, as Zila Nazim Nawabshah, in 2005-6, recommended the scheme to P&D Department of Sindh. With her relentless efforts, she got the scheme approved and included in PSDP 2008-09. The ground breaking of the college was performed on 11th October 2010 by Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, the then President of Pakistan. The college is designed initially to house 300 cadets, providing all the facilities of an elite residential institution both for cadets and the staff. The college started functioning in 2017, with class-VIII, having girls from all over the country, mainly from Sindh. The college, established by the Government of Sindh, is managed by a Board of Governors headed by Air Officer Commanding, Southern Air Command of Pakistan Air Force.

We cannot deny the importance of Clean and Green Pakistan in our life. Maintaining a healthy environment is a must for all individuals as their life totally depends on the kind of atmosphere they live in. If the environment is not clean or perhaps there is a lot of pollution around, then health will deteriorate. Being a Muslim country we should pay attention to the cleanliness of our environment. Islam teaches us to give equal importance to all aspects of our life and cleanliness is a must as it brings a lot of benefits. Hadis in the Quran, cleanliness is a part of faith.

Anila Ali went to Tharparkar for the help of their people, the water is mostly drawn from the wells 100-300 feet deep. Usually, animals such as donkey and camels are used to draw water. At times, several persons join hands to draw water from a well. To obtain a single bucket full of water, which is almost five gallons, much time and effort has to be utilised. These wells are being dug by the generous families of United States who donated money when they saw animals pulling the water.

Amri Bridge Sindh, 1.4 Km long over River Indus connects Sehwan and Nawabshah.
After the construction of this bridge distance and duration are cut down. Now people can use Indus Highway and make their way faster. This is the life line for the locals of Amri area specially for the people of Kazi Ahmed, Nawabshah, Sakrand, Dadu, and Sehwan etc.
Those who come from Punjab and upper areas of Sindh can go Karachi from this route. In flood situation Amri Pul played the important role in commute.
