Request for immediate rehabilitation of damages caused by un-precedent heavy rain and flash flood on 12-06-2023 in the jurisdiction of Neighborhood Council Chitral-1.
1. More than 50 houses have been fully and partially damaged.
2.All the Water supply schemes,water channels and roads have been damaged in a very large scale.
3. Standing crops and other livestock products have been washed away causing huge loss to the poor community.
4. Fruit plants and garden within the jurisdiction of NC Chitral-1 have also been damaged.
4.Few vehicles, motorbikes and other valuable assets were also ruined by flood.
6. This become a reason of many psychological issues among the community specially Children's under 18 age.

Narcotic Free Chitral
An awareness program against narcotic was held in Neighborhood Council (NC) Office Chitral-1.Chairman NC, members of council and elders also attended the program. All the participants expressed their grave concern about the excessive use of narcotic among the youth and stressed upon the law enforcement agencies to take strict legal action against all who are involved in this illegal business.
Mr.Sher Wazir, SDPO Chitral Police speaking on the occasion assured support of local police in the eradication of this social evil and he ask the participant to coordinate with the local police in the identification of individual in the premises of NC Chitral-1 who are involved in the business.
