DGI&P is pleased to announce that e-Passport is officially live now.
Pakistan now belongs to the League of Nations who have e-Passport facility.
At first stage this facility is for official and diplomatic passports, 02 official & 03 diplomatic e-passports have been issued to Government officers and diplomats today.
Issuance of e-Passport to the citizens of Pakistan and expatriates is expected to commence soon.

A SECURE GATEWAY TO THE WORLD
e-Passport is a highly secure travel document embedded with a microchip which contains biometric information that can be used to authenticate the identity of Passport holder.

• Chip based data storage with laser engraving
• Multiple security feature including IR & UV
• e-Gate facility for immigration
• ICAO compliant standards
• Real time match of personalized data at airports.
