EXIT DRILL IN THE HOME (EDITH)

๐Ÿšจ EDITH stands for Exit Drills In The Home. It is a fire safety practice that helps every family prepare and know what to do during a fire emergency.

Fire Safety Tips for EDITH:

โœ… Create a home escape plan and identify at least two exits from every room.

โœ… Keep hallways, doors, and windows free from obstructions.

โœ… Designate a safe meeting place outside the house where all family members will gather after escaping.

โœ… Practice your home fire escape drill regularly with all family members.

โœ… Teach children how to react when they hear a smoke alarm.

โœ… Stay low and crawl under smoke if escaping through a smoke-filled area.

โœ… Never go back inside a burning house for belongings or pets.

โœ… Once safely outside, call 911 or your local fire station immediately.

Preparedness saves lives. Every business establishment should have a well-developed Emergency Response Plan (ERP) to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and property during emergencies such as fires, earthquakes, medical incidents, and other unforeseen events.

An effective Emergency Response Plan includes clear evacuation procedures, designated assembly areas, emergency contact information, fire safety measures, and regular drills to familiarize personnel with proper response actions.

Remember: Being prepared today can prevent tragedy tomorrow. Let us work together to create safer workplaces and communities through proper planning, awareness, and readiness.

Talakayan sa Pamayanan

Ang Talakayan sa Pamayanan ay isang aktibidad na naglalayong magbigay ng mahalagang impormasyon at kamalayan sa mga mamamayan tungkol sa iba't ibang usaping may kinalaman sa kaligtasan, kalusugan, at paghahanda sa sakuna. Sa pamamagitan ng bukas na talakayan, naibabahagi ng mga kinauukulang ahensya ang mga wastong kaalaman at hakbang upang mapanatiling ligtas at handa ang bawat pamilya at komunidad.

Sa pangunguna ng Taguilon Fire Sub-Station, ang talakayan ay maaaring tumalakay sa mga paksa tulad ng pag-iwas sa sunog sa tahanan, wastong paggamit ng fire extinguisher, pagbuo ng family emergency plan, tamang pagtawag sa 911, at mga hakbang na dapat gawin sa oras ng emerhensiya. Layunin nitong mapalakas ang kooperasyon ng pamayanan tungo sa isang mas ligtas, maalam, at handang komunidad.

The Taguilon Fire Sub-Station continues to actively promote fire safety awareness within the community through the ๐„๐ƒ๐ˆ๐“๐‡ (๐„๐ฑ๐ข๐ญ ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐จ๐ฆ๐ž) campaign by encouraging residents to scan the QR code for easy access to fire safety information, emergency preparedness tips, and proper home exit drill procedures. ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ  Stay informed, stay prepared, and help keep your family safe in times of emergency!
