The Persons with Disability Affairs Office successfully conducted its 2nd Quarter Meeting, CY. 2026, with PWD Presidents and representatives. The meeting focused on planning and coordination for the upcoming National Disability Rights Week celebration, strengthening partnerships, and discussing programs and initiatives that promote the rights, welfare, and inclusion of persons with disabilities in our community.

Together, we continue to build a more inclusive and accessible society for all.

In Celebration of the 19th World Autism Awareness Day with the theme, “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value” 🌏💙

The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA), in partnership with the National Children’s Hospital and the NCH Child Development Center – Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, invites stakeholders, parents of newly diagnosed children with developmental disabilities, and the public to join us in commemorating this meaningful occasion.

The event will feature the Autism Therapy Team, showcasing their work in supporting children with autism—from first steps to everyday care and interventions.

Tomorrow, April 1, 2026, LGU Diplahan shall adopt the WORK-FROM-HOME ARRANGEMENT from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and shall implement WORK SUSPENSION from 12:01 PM onwards.

Offices responsible for delivering basic and health services, disaster and calamity preparedness and response, and other essential functions shall maintain their regular work arrangements and continue to provide the necessary services.
