Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay The oldest town in Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines. On February 17, 1937, Kabasalan was created into a regular municipality.

It was created as municipal district, a political entity, on JULY 12, 1917 per Executive Order No. 16, series of 1917.
