BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICK OFF 💚💚💚

Earlier today we have attended the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick Off of Alicia National Highschool (ANHS) and Alicia Elementary School (ACES) in preparation for the upcoming academic year. We are grateful for everyone’s commitment in this shared responsibility to which includes the cleanliness and repairs of our classrooms and other facilities to make it more conducive for learning.

41ST REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF ALICIA

Several legislative measures were discussed including ordinances, resolutions, and committee referrals. We then accommodated our visitors from CENRO-Imelda, De Villa Hospital, our ADH Chief Dr. Sheinorino Sotto, and others.

It was also our intern’s last day today at the office which coincidentally her name’s Elizabeth just like my late Mother. Thank you langga and we hope you had an insightful stay! 💚💚💚

May 4-5, 2026: Department of Tourism - Zamboanga Peninsula Office and LGU Alicia Community Based Tourism- Kulinarya Workshop 👩🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳💚

Mabuhay! The DOT together with LGU Alicia headed by Mayor Alvie B. Musa Al-hadj through the Tourism Office led by Ma’am Johayra E. Gubat conducted a Community Based Tourism Kulinarya Workshop that targeted the food sector of our 27 barangays as we underscore Food Tourism as one of our priorities in promoting our Tourism Industry here in Alicia.

Our resource person Mr. Jose Ramlo P. Villaluna discussed not just the knowledge and culinary skills that must be possessed inside the kitchen but also identified what are the available resources in our own barangays in order to create authentic recipes and products that are true reflections of our culture and heritage.

We believe in the LGU Alicia that with the right amount of support and development, we are not just empowering our people, we are also generating revenue, thereby boosting our local economy and attracting more tourists and investors from within and outside the Municipality.
