Please be informed that registration at the BSP Zamboanga City Council will be temporarily CLOSED on August 11–12, 2026.

This temporary closure is due to the implementation of the Mobile Registration Program in the Vitali and Curuan Districts, bringing registration services closer to Scouts and volunteers in the community.

✅ Regular registration services at the Council Office will RESUME on August 13, 2026.

🗓️ Please note that the Council Office also accepts registration every SATURDAY.

Last May 28, 2026, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Zamboanga City Council proudly joined the celebration of the Philippine National Flag Day held at Rizal Park, in front of the Zamboanga City Hall.

More than 50 Scouts participated in the ceremonial raising of the 21 flag poles upon the invitation of the City Government Office. The meaningful activity was headed by the City Vice Mayor, Hon. Beng Climaco, as part of honoring the symbol of our nation’s unity, freedom, and patriotism.

Through this celebration, the Scouts once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to service, discipline, leadership, and love for the country. ⚜️🇵🇭🫡

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines Zamboanga City Council successfully conducted the 2026 Annual Local Council Meeting last February 28, 2026, held at Skyview, Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.⚜️

The event gathered representatives from the 12 Scout Districts together with the Board Members of the BSP Zamboanga City Council to review and strengthen the Scouting movement in the local council. During the meeting, Acting Council Chairperson Sir Ronald A. Vicete presented the 2025 Annual Report, highlighting the successful implementation of programs and activities carried out throughout the year.

The meeting was also graced by the presence of the National Chief Commissioner of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Sir Atty. Jose Rizalino L. Ortega, whose attendance further emphasized the national leadership’s support for the council’s initiatives and continued development of the Scouting movement.

One of the highlights of the event was the Recognition and Awarding Ceremony, honoring the dedication and outstanding efforts of the different Scout Districts for their continued commitment and support in advancing the Scouting movement.

The council also successfully conducted the election of the new Local Council Executive Board (LCEB) members. Furthermore, the council proudly welcomed the newly elected Council Chairman, Sir Atty. Rommel Meng Agan, who will lead the BSP Zamboanga City Council in strengthening its mission of service, leadership, and character development among the youth.

Congratulations to the newly elected leaders and to the entire Scouting community for another milestone in strengthening the spirit of Scouting! ⚜️👏👏
