In a proactive move to ensure maximum police operational
readiness and strict discipline among personnel, 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗔𝗟 𝗠 𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗦, Provincial Director of the Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office (MORPPO), conducted a surprise series of on-the-ground inspections across multiple police stations in eastern Misamis Oriental on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

The surprise inspections covered the municipal and city police stations of Claveria, Gingoog City, Magsaysay, and Medina.

SAN MARTIN, VILLANUEVA, MISAMIS ORIENTAL — The Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office (MORPPO), under the leadership of PCOL AL M ABANALES, Provincial Director, conducted its Traditional Monday Flag raising and Awarding Ceremony on September 7, 2026, at MORPPO Provincial Headquarters in Brgy. San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.

The ceremony highlighted the recognition of police personnel who demonstrated dedication, commitment, and exemplary performance in the fulfillment of their duties, making valuable contributions to the accomplishment of the unit’s mission.

The following personnel were awarded Certificates of Commendation:

· PCPT PROMELIA E OREJAS – Talisayan MPS
· PSMS JEFFREY B LUZA – Alubijid MPS
· PCPL JERIC M PASCO – Alubijid MPS

· PAT RYAN J BONGAT – 2nd PMFC

Their unwavering dedication and outstanding efforts exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service excellence, inspiring fellow police personnel and the communities they serve.

Meanwhile, PMAJ ARNOLD T GAABUCAYAN, Officer-in-Charge of the Provincial Operations Management Unit (POMU), MORPPO, served as Resource Speaker during the ceremony. He shared valuable insights and guidance, emphasizing the importance of discipline, teamwork, accountability, and commitment to duty particularly on the “Tourist Police Unit” in ensuring the effective and responsive delivery of police service.

Moreover, PCOL AL M ABANALES, Provincial Director of MORPPO, expressed his commendation to all personnel, particularly the awardees, for their unwavering dedication, hard work, and commitment to duty. He emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism, discipline, and teamwork in the continued pursuit of the unit’s mission to provide efficient and responsive police service to the community.

The ceremony served as an avenue to strengthen unity, boost personnel morale, reinforce discipline, and recognize the valuable contributions of MORPPO personnel in maintaining peace and order and ensuring the safety and security of the people of Misamis Oriental.
