We met with the PWD Victorias City Chapter to discuss their proposed Livelihood Program and how the City Government can help create more opportunities for our PWDs.
Livelihood means opportunity, independence, and dignity.

With PESO’s support, we will help our PWDs access training and sustainable income opportunities.

We will work together to build a Victorias City where every Victoriasanon has the opportunity to contribute, earn, and thrive.

We opened the 126th Civil Service Month celebration sa Victorias City, isa ka bulan nga selebrasyon nga nagapadungog sa dedikasyon kag serbisyo sang aton mga public servants.

Gin-celebrate naton ang tema kag mga activities nga nagapasiguro nga padayon ang aton komitment sa excellent public service, mas mapaayo pa gid naton ang delivery sang serbisyo para sa mga Victoriasanons.

Salamat sa tanan nga empleyado kag opisyal nga nagapadayon magserbisyo sing tapat kag may kalidad. Padayon nga Asenso Astig ang Victorias City!

We held an SGLG Deep Dive Meeting para ma-review naton ang performance assessment, key areas, and timeline para sa masunod nga Seal of Good Local Governance assessment.

Gintalakay naton ang mga kinahanglan himuon sang aton mga opisina kag ang mga areas nga kinahanglan pa naton ma-improve, especially sa planning, budgeting, kag service delivery.

Importante ini nga preparasyon para mas klaro ang aton priorities kag mas mapabaskog ang aton mga programa kag serbisyo para sa mga Victoriasanons.

We received a courtesy call this morning from Provincial Agriculturist Joelyn Librado, together with Elizabeth Magno, Hermie Jones P. Basillo, and Meriam Defensor Era, for the validation of RSSI.

We talked about the validation process, our agricultural programs, and the support needed by our farmers in Victorias City.

We also discussed how the City Government and the Provincial Agriculture Office can coordinate more closely so that programs and resources are properly aligned with the needs of our farming communities.

We will keep working with our partners to strengthen agriculture and create better opportunities for every Victoriasanon.

We joined our fellow Third District mayors for a productive visit to the House of Representatives, including courtesy visits with House Speaker Bojie Dy and Majority Leader Sandro Marcos, budget briefings from the DTI and DOH, and the plenary session.

These engagements help us stay informed sa mga national programs kag budget priorities nga makabulig sa aton komunidad kag makahatag sang mas maayo nga opportunities para sa aton mga Victoriasanon.

Happy 3rd Anniversary, Mayors for Good Governance!
For three years, Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) has brought together local leaders who share the goal of promoting integrity, accountability, transparency, and responsive public service.

The anniversary gathering gave us an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn from one another, and reflect on how we can make local government more responsive to the needs of our communities.

For us in Victorias City, these conversations are valuable because good governance is reflected in how we serve people, manage public resources, and respond to the concerns of every Victoriasanon.

We also thank Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines and San Miguel Corporation for their support and for being part of this gathering.

Partnerships like these create spaces where local leaders can share practical ideas and strengthen the way we serve our communities.

May we keep learning from one another and working together for better local governance and better service for our people.
Together, we serve with purpose and responsibility for every Victoriasanon.

Congratulations to Victorias City for the successful hosting of PVL On Tour 2026!

We are happy to have given our Victoriasanons the opportunity to experience the excitement of the Premier Volleyball League right here in our city on August 22, 2026.

PVL On Tour gave our young people the chance to see high-level volleyball up close and be inspired by the athletes they watched.

The event also brought visitors to Victorias City, gave us a chance to showcase our city, and brought our community together through sports.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Congressman Javier Miguel “Javi” Benitez for helping put Victorias City in the spotlight and for bringing opportunities like this closer to our community.

We also thank our city officials, department heads, employees, partners, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this event a success.

May this experience inspire our young people to keep dreaming, believing, and working toward what they can achieve. Together, we create more opportunities and a brighter future for every Victoriasanon.
