A glimpse of abundance from the seas of Valladolid 🌊✨

Witness the incredible harvest of “Angel Wings” (Diwal)—one of the Municipality of Valladolid’s most prized coastal treasures. Known for its delicate shell and rich, buttery flavor, diwal is a seasonal delicacy that brings both livelihood and pride to our local fisherfolk.

Carefully gathered from the coastal waters, this bountiful harvest reflects not only the richness of our marine resources but also the dedication and hard work of the Dolidnon community. Each shell tells a story of early mornings at sea, patience, and a deep connection to nature.

Beyond its culinary appeal, diwal is a symbol of Valladolid’s coastal identity—celebrated in local markets and dining tables, often enjoyed grilled, sautéed, or served fresh to highlight its natural taste.

Truly, this harvest is more than just food—it’s culture, livelihood, and a testament to the blessings of our seas.

From shore to table, Valladolid continues to share its natural wonders with pride. 🌾💛
