At about 11:27 AM on June 1, 2026, PNP Valencia, led by PCPT DONICKO B ANGELES, OIC, carried out a recorida at the tricycle terminal, Brgy. South Poblacion. The operation served as a reminder to the public regarding the strict ban on videoke and loud music after 10:00 PM. Authorities reiterated that the policy is enforced to maintain peace and prevent noise disturbances within the community.

At about 11:34 AM of June 1, 2026, Valencia Municipal Police Station personnel under the leadership of PCPT DONICKO B ANGELES, OIC, conducted a Bomb Threat Awareness recorida near Valencia Central Elementary School, Brgy. North Poblacion, Valencia, Negros Oriental. The activity highlighted the importance of vigilance, proper response procedures, and the immediate reporting of any suspicious items or threats. Through direct community engagement, the initiative strengthened public awareness and reinforced the shared responsibility of keeping schools and public spaces safe, secure, and prepared.

At about 11:44 AM on June 1, 2026, a recorida was conducted by the PNP of Valencia under the supervision of PCPT DONICKO B ANGELES, OIC along Larena Street, Brgy. South Poblacion, Valencia, Negros Oriental to remind residents of the prohibition on public drinking. The activity supports the DILG directive and local ordinances enforcing the Anti-Public Intoxication policy, which bans alcohol consumption in streets, sidewalks, parks, and other public spaces. Authorities emphasized that setting up drinking areas in public spaces often leads to disturbances and conflicts. The campaign aims to promote safety, order, and discipline in the community by keeping public areas clean, peaceful, and safe for everyone.

3ID Supports NTF-ELCAC LCC Statement on Dismissal of ‘CERNET’ Case

The Army’s 3rd Infantry Division expresses its full support for the statement issued by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) through its Legal Cooperation Cluster (LCC) regarding the dismissal of the terrorism financing case against members of the Community Empowerment Resource Network, Inc. (CERNET).

The decision of the Regional Trial Court was based on procedural grounds. The Division stands with the NTF-ELCAC in emphasizing that such dismissal does not equate to a declaration of innocence and that the fight against terrorism financing remains a crucial aspect of national security.

The 3ID reaffirms its unwavering commitment to uphold the rule of law while supporting all lawful efforts of the NTF-ELCAC and other government agencies in combating terrorism and its enablers. We call on the public to remain vigilant and united in protecting the country from groups and individuals that exploit legal technicalities to undermine peace and stability.

We likewise urge our stakeholders, particularly the Local Government Units (LGUs) and Local Government Agencies (LGAs), to remain vigilant and exercise due diligence in assessing the entities, Non-Government Organizations, and people’s organizations they support and establish partnerships with. It is essential to ensure that government resources, programs, and community initiatives are not exploited or infiltrated by organizations that may directly or indirectly engage in activities that threaten peace, security, and development in our communities.

The Division will continue to work closely with law enforcement and judicial institutions, carrying out its mandate professionally and impartially, in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, to ensure justice, security, and lasting peace in Western and Central Visayas, as well as in the Negros Island Region.
