We are a duly registered corporation dedicated to water safety. SEC Registration No. 2025040197092-00. Vision:
To empower lifeguards, enhance safety, and ensure a secure, enjoyable experience for all. Mission:
• Lifeguard Empowerment: Enhance lifeguards' skills, welfare, and professional growth to uphold excellence in water safety.
• Workplace Integrity: Foster a supportive, ethical, and professional work environment that values lifeguards’ dedication and well-being.
• Guest & Patron Safety: Deliver proactive and efficient lifeguard services to safeguard all beachgoers and resort guests.
• Community & Industry Collaboration: Strengthen partnerships with resorts, local authorities, and stakeholders to enhance safety measures and protocols.
• Public Awareness & Education: Advocate for water safety knowledge and responsible behavior among tourists and the local community. Goals:
• Improve lifeguard working conditions and recognition to elevate their professional status.
• Maintain a strong, well-trained lifeguard network across Bohol’s beaches and resorts.
• Implement and enforce strict water safety standards to reduce incidents and fatalities.
• Establish clear communication and collaboration between lifeguards, management, and emergency responders.
• Expand educational programs and safety campaigns for tourists, resorts, and local communities.
• Position BOHALA as a leading advocate for lifeguard excellence and water safety in the Philippines.

The Philippine Red Cross – Bohol Chapter invites aspiring lifeguards, resort and hotel personnel, swimming pool operators, tourism establishments, and water safety enthusiasts to join our PROFESSIONAL LIFEGUARDING COURSE – BATCH 6!

🏊 October 27–31, 2026
📍 Bohol, Philippines
💰 Training Fee: ₱3,500 ONLY!

🌟 WHY TRAIN WITH THE PHILIPPINE RED CROSS?

✅ Professional lifeguarding skills and water rescue techniques

✅ Internationally recognized Red Cross training standards

✅ Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training recognized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)

✅ Learn essential lifesaving skills, emergency response, CPR, and AED

✅ Gain valuable qualifications for employment in resorts, hotels, swimming pools, and other water-based establishments

⚖️ DID YOU KNOW?

Under Bohol Provincial Ordinance No. 2007-033, tourism establishments operating in beaches, rivers, lakes, swimming pools, and similar bodies of water are required to employ at least one Philippine Red Cross-accredited lifeguard.

Investing in lifeguard training is not just about compliance. It is about protecting lives, strengthening tourism safety, and ensuring that every guest and swimmer is in safe hands.

Our BOHALA team took to the waters as "Scubasureros" diving underwater to pull out plastic waste, marine debris, and pollution resting on our sea floor. Clean waters mean safer, healthier beaches for everyone!

Protecting our paradise takes effort both above and below the surface. Let's do our part on land so less trash ends up in our seas!

Bright and early this morning, the Bohol Active Lifeguards Association (BOHALA) joined hands with Best Western Plus The Ivywall Resort - Panglao for the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup at Alona Beach, Danao, Panglao, Bohol!

Guided by this year's theme, "Clean Seas for Resilient Communities," our team hit the shores to help preserve our beautiful coastline and protect marine life. Safeguarding our ocean goes beyond keeping swimmers safe it means caring for the waters we all share!

A huge thank you to everyone who stepped up and made a difference today. Every small effort brings us closer to cleaner seas and stronger communities!
