📢 ANNOUNCEMENT
The Guidance Services Center will be offering Psychological First Aid (PFA) to all employees, students, and their families who are in need of psychosocial support following the recent earthquake and the impact of Typhoon Tino last November 3, 2025.

This initiative aims to provide emotional support and coping strategies to help promote resilience and psychological well-being during these challenging times.

LOOK | CTU extends Psychological First Aid to Tuburan and Tabuelan Campuses after Northern Cebu Quake

Following the recent earthquake that struck northern Cebu, Cebu Technological University (CTU) extended its Psychological First Aid (PFA) program to students and employees from the Tuburan and Tabuelan campuses on October 17, 2025, as part of the university’s ongoing psychosocial support efforts for affected communities.

Held at CTU Tuburan, the initiative created a nurturing space for individuals to reflect, recover, and regain emotional stability, with a total of 91 participants, including 62 employees, 25 students, and 4 children joining the session.

𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑪𝒆𝒃𝒖𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉 𝑻𝒖𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑨𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒕

In line with the university’s commitment to excellence and quality assurance, CebuTech Tuburan is undergoing a three-day Internal Quality Audit (IQA) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

The audit formally commenced with an opening program on the morning of August 18, 2025, held at the Conference Hall in the Administration Building. Auditors, auditees, faculty, and staff were warmly welcomed by Campus Director Dr. Ma. Carla Abaquita. The auditees and key officials of CebuTech Tuburan were introduced by the OIC Campus Dean of Instruction, Dr. Lanny Merryl Gallarde. The IQA Team—composed of auditors from various CTU campuses—was introduced by Team Leader Dr. Nemia Zamora, who also presented the statement of purpose for the audit as well as the itinerary for the visit.

Following the opening program, the audit process promptly began, reflecting CebuTech’s dedication to progress and excellence. Moreover, the IQA is scheduled to conclude on August 20, 2025, after what is expected to be a productive exchange—all in pursuit of the institution’s continual development and excellence.

On the afternoon of August 12, 2025, CebuTech Tuburan successfully hosted an event titled “Orientation on Senior Citizens, Solo Parents, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).” Students and employees gathered at the Bulawanong Tinubdan Cultural Hall to participate in the event designed to provide faculty, staff, and students with a comprehensive understanding of municipal programs and services for senior citizens, solo parents, and PWDs. The orientation also aimed to promote inclusivity and strengthen gender-responsive approaches within the university community.

The orientation was spearheaded by the Non-Teaching Association, the Gender and Development (GAD) office, the Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), and the Senior Citizen and PWD Offices.

*Incoming students who have already submitted their MOA to the office are not required to submit again.
