The Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC) Development Committee conducted the Adolescent Health Program entitled “Cost of Bad Decisions: A Life-Size Board Game” in partnership with the Municipal Health Services Office (MHSO) headed by Dr. Angeline F. Calatan and NHWSS - Department of Health. The activity was conducted on May 20, 2026, at Camp 4 and Camp 6, Tuba, Benguet.

More than 50 adolescents from the barangay attended and actively participated in the activity.

The program aimed to educate adolescents on important issues affecting their well-being, including teenage pregnancy, puberty, mental health, and smoke-free awareness among adolescents. Through interactive discussions and activities, participants were encouraged to make informed and responsible decisions.

Hon. Jerome Palaoag, SB Member and member of the MCPC Development Committee, also joined the activity and encouraged the youth to make wise decisions and become responsible individuals in the community.

A Life-Size Board Game was also introduced as an engaging learning activity designed to help adolescents understand the possible consequences of their choices and actions. The game promoted critical thinking, teamwork, decision-making, and awareness of real-life situations that may affect their health, future, and overall well-being./Kate
