The DOH Tagaytay Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (TRC) held its Monthly Holy Mass yesterday, August 27, 2026, for the spiritual nourishment and strengthening of our Staff and Residents.

The Holy Mass was headed by Rev. Fr. Orlando Perfecto and facilitated by the Nursing Section. It was a meaningful gathering of prayer, thanksgiving, and reflection, reminding us of the importance of faith, compassion, and hope in our daily lives and service.

The celebration was a meaningful opportunity for everyone to come together in prayer, give thanks for Godโ€™s blessings, and seek His guidance and strength in our daily lives and responsibilities.

Following the Holy Mass, Fr. Orlando also conducted the Blessing of the Offices of the different departments, praying for Godโ€™s protection, wisdom, unity, and blessings upon all personnel and everyone who enters our workplace. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

May our faith continue to guide us in our mission of serving, healing, and helping others.

Designed to promote self-awareness, emotional expression, resilience, and personal growth, the activity provided participants with a safe and supportive space to explore their thoughts and emotions through creative expression, experiential learning, reflective discussions, and shared healing experiences.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in meaningful activities that encouraged self-discovery, strengthened adaptive coping skills, fostered emotional healing, and reinforced the value of community support in the recovery process. More than an art-based activity, ๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—–๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—œ๐—  served as a reminder that recovery is a journey of rediscovering one's strengths, rebuilding hope, and finding meaning beyond past struggles.

The DOH Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Tagaytay City, through its Medical Social Work Section, conducted the Expressions of Healing Through Art Workshop for National Disability Week 2026. The event serves as a powerful reminder that when the world focuses on ThisAbility, physical barriers are broken down right on the canvas. Art therapy gives a loud, beautiful voice to individuals across the PWD sector who fight daily physical limits, creating a space where the entire community truly belongs and shines.

A heartfelt thank you to Ma'am Mary Janette I. Peรฑa for sharing her valuable knowledge, meaningful experiences, and the inspiring artworks of her son, Muneer. Deep gratitude also goes out to the wonderful participants from Brgy. Kaysuyo, Kaytitinga, and Sinaliw Malaki.
