In the spirit of unity and transparency, Barangay Abaca proudly held its Barangay Assembly, bringing together community leaders and residents in a meaningful dialogue on programs, updates, and future initiatives. Residents were also given the opportunity to express their concerns, offer suggestions, and participate in planning future activities for a safer and more progressive barangay.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our Punong Barangay Hon. Rafael A. Tarroja Jr. and the entire Barangay Council for their strong leadership and unwavering commitment in serving our community.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude to our distinguished guest from the Tobias Fornier Municipal Police Station PCMS Jessie Abella for sharing his valuable knowledge, guidance, and support with our community.

The successful conduct of the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Local Level Plan Implementation โ€“ Provincial Results-Oriented (MELLPI-PRO) marks an important step in strengthening our local nutrition and health programs.

This activity allows the barangay to assess the implementation of nutrition-related initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that programs and services intended for the community are properly delivered and continuously enhanced.

Through MELLPI-PRO, the barangay is guided in sustaining effective strategies that promote the overall health and well-being of every familyโ€”especially children, mothers, and other vulnerable members of the community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Ms. Vina Dolor D. Pagunsan and Mrs. Elma P. Nelmar, as well as to the members of the Barangay Nutrition Committee (BNC), for their commitment and valuable contributions in promoting health and nutrition in the community.

The barangay likewise extends its sincere appreciation to our evaluatorsโ€”the Municipal Nutrition Action Officer (MNAO), Health Education and Promotion Officer (HEPO), PDOHO, Principal I of Abaca Elementary School (DepEd), and the Municipal Nutrition Committee (MNC)โ€”for their invaluable guidance, expertise, and support throughout the evaluation process. Their responsible commitment to strengthening local nutrition governance and ensuring the effective implementation of programs significantly contributes to advancing better nutrition outcomes for our community.
