Buenavista Elementary School Earns 3-Star Rating in WASH in Schools Evaluation

Buenavista Elementary School has achieved a significant milestone after being awarded in maintaining a 3-star rating in the recent WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) in Schools evaluation. This recognition highlights the schoolโ€™s strong commitment to provide a clean, safe, and health-promoting learning environment for its pupils.

According to the evaluation team, the school demonstrated commendable performance in key WASH indicators, including the availability of clean water, well-maintained sanitation facilities, regular hygiene practices, and the active involvement of both staff and learners in maintaining cleanliness.

School faculty and staff expressed their pride in receiving the award, noting that the accomplishment reflects the combined efforts of teachers, parents, learners, and community stakeholders. They emphasized that the 3-star rating inspires the school to continue strengthening its hygiene initiatives and to work toward maintaining the high rating in future assessments.

The WASH in Schools program aims to promote the health and well-being of learners by ensuring that educational institutions uphold high standards in water access, sanitation, and hygiene.

As a WINS advocate for 6 years, Buenavista Elementary Schoolโ€™s achievement serves as a model for other schools striving to improve their WASH practices.

This achievement reflects our schoolโ€™s strong commitment in maintaining clean, safe, and child-friendly facilities, as well as promoting proper hygiene practices among our learners. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated teachers with our WINS Coordinator Marve V. Borja under the leadership of our very active school head Cristian R. Delos Angeles, supportive parents, diligent learners, and community partners for their collective effort in making this milestone possible.

Together, we will continue to uphold and improve our WINS practices as we strive for even greater accomplishments in the future.

Congratulations, Buenavista Elementary School!
Keep soaring high!
